Frequently Asked Questions For Sellers

Why should I sell to you, especially if I might be able to get more elsewhere?

PROMPT PAYMENT. We pay you within a week of receiving the units.
NO WORRY. You know who you are dealing with. We publish iPhone Life magazine. Thaddeus Computing has been supporting, buying and selling handhelds since 1985. References available upon request.
INTEGRITY. We are fair, honest, and in business for the long term. We keep our promises. See testimonial page.

How do you determine what you will pay or if you will buy?

Fundamentally, it depends on how resalable we think the units are. The older the model, the greater the perceived risk; the poorer the condition, the less we will pay. On the other hand, if we know we have a market and the units won't be in inventory long, we will pay more.

Why the significant differential between what you will pay and what you will sell units for?

There are many hidden costs associated with buying and selling units that may not be obvious. First, it is a labor intensive operation. Units need to be purchased, tested, cleaned, and repaired. Second, we want to make the process of purchasing used units as risk free for our customers as possible. Therefore, we assume the cost of our generous guarantee. Third, we have to hold many units in inventory, some of which we will never sell. Finally, marketing our services, making our services known is an expensive process.

Where should we ship the units?
